AP.Setup Login and Access Guide
AP.Setup is used by some compatible networking products as a local configuration address. Support varies, so verify it on the device label or manual.

Know the operating mode
An access point normally uses Ethernet backhaul, while repeater mode connects wirelessly to a router. Select the intended mode before following setup instructions because ports, SSIDs and address behaviour differ.
Connect locally
Join the factory WiFi or connect to the LAN port when supported. Turn off mobile data and VPN, then type the documented address directly into the browser address bar. A public search result is not the device login page.
Use the correct credentials
Initial credentials may be printed, documented or created on first access. The admin password is separate from the router WiFi password. Do not enter local credentials on an unrelated public website.
Fix a page that will not load
Stay connected despite a no-internet warning, try a private browser tab and check the connected network’s default gateway. Restart the device before resetting. If an official app is required, use that documented method.
Configure access-point mode
Connect the correct LAN or uplink port as specified, choose an SSID and strong wireless password, then apply settings. Avoid creating an IP conflict with the main router. Allow rebooting before testing.
Secure and maintain the device
Change default admin credentials, use supported WPA2/WPA3 security and obtain firmware only from the official manufacturer source for the exact hardware revision.

AP-mode completion checks
After saving AP mode, connect a client to the new WiFi and verify that its gateway and subnet match devices on the main router. Test the internet and a permitted local resource such as a printer. If the client receives an unexpected subnet, the device may still be routing or running DHCP. Find the AP address in the main router client list and reserve it if predictable management access is needed. Keep the Ethernet uplink in the model-specific port and label the cable for future troubleshooting. Save the assigned AP address and test again after restarting the main router so you know management access remains available.
